A Lifelong Partnership
Marriage is a sacred covenant of lifelong love and fidelity, blessed by God and celebrated in the presence of family, friends, and the Church community.
Christian marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, blessed by God and witnessed by the Church. It is a lifelong partnership of love and faith, in which husband and wife support each other in good times and in challenging ones, reflecting the faithful love of Christ for His people.

Preparing for the Wedding Day
Couples planning to marry in Acton Parish are asked to contact the parish office at least six months in advance. This allows time for preparation meetings, paperwork, and participation in a recognised marriage preparation course. These sessions help couples reflect on the spiritual, emotional, and practical dimensions of married life.
A Celebration of Love and Community
The wedding ceremony itself is a moment of great joy for the entire community, as we pray that God will bless the couple’s union and sustain them in love all the days of their lives.
